At a loss

A few weeks ago Curtis and I moved, again. During the move something happened to our PC and now it won't work. I can't even look at it or be around it because I don't know what to do. Normally it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Run the recovery CD and you're done. But if I run the recovery CD we lose EVERYTHING that was on the PC. All of our music, documents and most importantly pictures. All of the pictures from Samuel's first year, our time in China and back here. I am truly at a loss in what to do. There has to be another solution then letting it all go.

Sad.

So Sad.

Anyone have any ideas?!

Lent has led me to you; poetic, no?

If you're using a desktop, you can most likely take your hard drive and connect it to another computer, copy off the files, and then fix your problem. If you have issues with this, try connecting it to a mac (you may need a fancy cable; find someone tech savvy).

If you're using a laptop, the same procedure is doable, but once again, it may require a fancy cable.

Oh, and hello for the first time in years.
