The Mask

I have been encouraging Curtis to get on and share his mustache with you all (he is so proud of it) but he has been very busy doing super important things- really. So hopefully this next week he will be able to share his joy of his mustache with you. It always amazing me how when incredibly busy and despite being pulled in many different directions- Curtis also remains so calm and relaxed. I admire that in him.

So I thought I would share some random picture of our house. Right now it is under going some construction - so it feels a bit messy.
Our bed, my vanity and Curtis's massive Chemistry book...

I love my coat rack- its more like a bag rack and that's probably why I love it. I love bags!

Today I spend two hours cleaning half of my kitchen (the pic. below is really how big my kitchen is). I started with the floors and soon realized that underneath my cupboards were things I hasn't seen since last fall...it was pretty nasty to say the least. So this called for a full out cleaning of the kitchen. Once I swept and mopped the small little floor I moved onto the walls. The walls always amaze me. A thin but very noticeable black layer builds up over the months and make my walls start to become grey instead of white. So of course I had to wash all of my walls. I only got half way done before one of my friends came over for dinner so I had to put everything back to normal so I could prepare dinner. The other half of the kitchen will be cleaned another day.
But when cleaning I managed to find my Christmas present from last year. Curtis kind of got it for me as a joke but I ended up using it quite a few times. I think China may be one of the very rare places that wearing a mask like this is stylish. You can get mask in all different colors and patterns. I love my pock-a-dots.

Super cool, eh?
