37 weeks!

Well folks, we have made it to full term! The twins are growing great. Girl is 5 lbs 11 ozs, and boy is 6lbs 1oz. Both are still head up so it looks like a csection is still in order. Only one week and two days until they will be here for sure!

Josie and Samuel are playing and fighting together like sibling do. They are anxious for the babies to be here as well.

33 weeks and counting

We made it to Kansas the beginning of march and are still working on getting settled in. But we are getting there!

Curtis and his dad are almost finished building a fence so the little tods can play outside, just In time for the warmer weather.

Josie is talking like crazy and really starting to pronounce her letters more clear. She is so smart and fun. Starting to get into everything, as every almost two year old does.

Samuel is sooo helpful, and turning into such a sweet little man. He is very excited about the two babies in my tummy and often sympathizes because apparently he has five babies in his tummy. ;)

Samuel and Josie are just getting to the age where they are having conversations together and having a blast playing together. So fun to watch.

I spend most all of my time sitting or laying. I am pretty restless and anxious for these babies to get here. Trying to find things to keep me busy. for all you who know me, sitting around all day is quite a difficult task for me, especially when there is soo much to do! But I'm trying to not be so selfish and keep the twins health as 1st priority.

We saw our new doctor on Monday and she is fabulous. We decided to deliver at Shawnee missions medical center with the help of a recommendation from a family friend (thanks Belinda!).

Here are the stats on the twins as I'm sure everyone is anxious to know:
33 weeks
Baby girl is 3 lbs 14 ounces
Baby boy is 4 lbs 1 ounce
The boy has always been a little bigger then the girl.
They are both sitting head up right now which, if they don't flip, will mean I'll have to have a c-section. So I'm trying to do fun things to get them to flip :)
I am measuring 51 weeks. Rather large. Haha.
The goal is to get to at least 36 weeks. 36 weeks is the average delivery time for twins. 38 weeks is when we will deliver if they haven't come by then.
If I go into labor this next week they will try and stop the labor but after 34 weeks they will just let it happen. So it looks like they will be April babies, assuming I don't go into labor in the next few days.

I'll be seeing the doctor once a week from now on. Every Friday.

That's about it! Here are some picture to enjoy.

Bliss for everyone!

Josie's morning wiggle worms class was cancelled(teacher had the flu) and we were all ready to go, excited to play, so we headed to Cool Bean Playhouse. Curtis found a great deal on Deal Chicken, two kids admissions and a free latte for $8. So I got to sit on a comfy couch with my husband drinking a fee latte while Samuel and Josie ran around and had a blast and Curtis played on his iPad. Bliss for everyone!

Samuel tried on every dress up outfit he could find.

They climbed, slid, ran.....they had tons of fun.

Sorry about the blurry pictures. iPhone couldn't catch the kids fast enough. Or I messed up a setting. Oh well.

Hanging in there!

I won't see the doctor until the 25th of February so until then here are just a few updates. We are packing and cleaning non-stop. Hopefully our place will get leased out early. Samuel was confused at first but once he saw all of the boxes and our things being staged in the garage he wasn't too worried. Now everyday he talks about moving to Kansas, even though it's still a little less then 3 weeks. At least he's kind of getting it :) and he seems excited!

Here are the kids painting.

Samuel has a game on my phone he absolutely loves so I'm not getting as many pictures these days. Maybe I'll have to whip out the old camera. That's gonna be weird :)

As for the babies. They are still cooking! Moving ALOT and the boy loves to kick, especially when I'm trying to sleep. Maybe because I am laying on his side, or maybe because he likes to annoy mom like his older brother and dad do. Still.

They are getting bigger and bigger. More and more uncomfortable. There's not to many places/positions to sit or lay the are comfortable. Except for the bath. I end up there a lot. 3 more months!

25 weeks

Pregnancy update:
Yesterday I had an ultrasound. The babies measure 25 weeks so they are doing great! Doctor isn't worried about much. (she's really not helpful actually, I learn a lot more from the books I read). Baby girl is measuring 1 lb 10 ounces and baby girl is measuring 1 lb 12 ounces. They were kicking each other and the ultrasound pressing in them the whole time. Very active babies. even though I am 25 weeks I am measuring 32 weeks. So, getting bigger!

Just trying to get a lot of rest and saving my energy for the important things, like Samuel and Josie and making healthy dinner (sometimes).

We have transitioned to paper plates and cups to help Curtis cut back on the dishes and cleaning a little bit. And also to pack the regular dishes for the move!

Samuel is starting some "school books". I tried making them at first but he wanted to do the tracing all the time and I couldn't keep up, so we bought some and are gonna make copies.

See what a good job he did!? Sorry they are upside down. Couldn't figure out how to flip it on the iPad.

Anyways. Here are some picture of Samuel and Josie being awesome.
